Over the years, owner and air conditioning engineer Marvin Koskela was frequently asked by commercial customers to evaluate the comfort of their homes. Again and again, he found the same problem: while the heating and cooling equipment itself was often adequate, the residential air distribution systems had not been properly designed, manufactured, or installed to deliver the quiet, consistent comfort people experienced in their workplaces.
That realization created a need for a different approach to residential HVAC, one grounded in proper engineering and thoughtful system design. And that’s how CMI-AIR was born.
